"But You Don't Look Sick"
An illustrated zine documenting the stories and statements of university students living with chronic invisible illness,
Zine Interior I
Current research suggests that students with “invisible” chronic illnesses such as lupus, fibromyalgia, etc. often report feelings of isolation, low self-esteem, frustration, and accusations of laziness by staff and peers. The goal in creating this zine is to bring comfort to these students living with chronic invisible illness while also educating others.
Zine Interior II
The zine contains material from over 20 interviews with chronically ill students.
